We need you at our office in Copenhagen!


MakesYouLocal helps webshops succeed abroad and we have many new clients focusing on the Nordic markets. This is why we are looking for new colleagues to join our team of native Finns, Swedes and Norwegians in Copenhagen.


We need your help with customer service, but also translations as monitoring social media on behalf of the webshops we work with. In other words, our new colleagues should be able to manage all the tasks it requires, for a webshop to succeed in the country you come from. On top of that, the preferable candidate are able to read and understand another Nordic language, preferable Swedish or Danish – and maybe even speak and write the language as well.


You will be part of a language group of 3-5 persons and part of our team of 12-15 persons, working with daily shop management and customer service for our clients.

We have a great time at work, and after! First of all we prioritise that everybody’s workday includes a variety of tasks. We also make sure you are served a good and healthy lunch, great coffee, fruit and too much cake. What we expect from our next colleague


First of all we are looking for people with the right attitude and for us this means, that you most days are happy and positive. That you are ready to step up when our customers need you and enjoy the freedom on days where they don’t. The job also requires an interest in e-commerce and a genuine desire to help the customers you are in contact with. On top of that we expect you:


to be able to speak and write fluently in your mother tongue


to understand Swedish or Danish


to have relevant job experience, from e-commerce, retail or another relevant position


to be comfortable with a computer and willing to learn new stuff


to have been living in your home country most of your life


This is a full time position and you will be working from our office in “Østerbro”, Copenhagen. Here you will find 24 colleagues from 4 different countries, all doing a great job helping our customers to succeed abroad.

We help businesses with the initial strategic decisions and localisation of their online shops, to make sure they meet expectations in the new country.


Once the online shop is launched, our local teams are an important part of the daily operations for our customers. We can take care of customer service and shop maintenance in local languages as well as business development, marketing planning and execution.


MakesYouLocal was established in 2010. The idea came from more than 10 years of work in leading Danish online shops, selling in several countries.
